Onyx natural stone, which is rarely found in onyx natural stone marble quarries in the world, has some colors. These colors generally come out of Iranian hearths in the Middle East. Although the geological or geographical factors affecting these reserves are not known exactly, the colors of this natural stone may be rare colors such as green, orange, pink etc. Yellow color onyx stone is one of these rare color onyxes. The yellow stone comes only from the quarries in Iran and only upon request. For this reason, their prices are quite high. This yellow color is not homogeneous yellow, contrary to what is known. It can be orange and cream colors or brown bands. They are generally known as orange onyx, not yellow onyx. Unlike the gray-black onyx, most of the yellow onyx are plated and given to the demander. These plate pieces are mostly used in narrow spaces or in decorations with other color onyx stones due to their high price. The yellow onyxes that are not turned into plates are processed as ornaments and souvenirs especially in the Far East countries and find buyers.
